Winterization Improvements at BCMUD Water Treatment Facility

Estimated Time Frame: Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025. The schedule will be updated once the contractor provides a timeline.

Description: This project will winterize exposed piping to enable continuous operation during freezing temperatures.

Impact to the Community: There is no impact to the community. Once complete, this project will improve the reliability of continuous water service during power outages. Construction work for this project is funded by money allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act.
